What is the flipside to stinky, smelly people?Sweet, delicious smelling people - of course.
I love girly things.
I love jewelry and dresses.
I love frills and ruffles and polka dots.
And ... I love wonderful perfumes.
I mentioned on an On The Upside post recently that I love the perfumes Dune, Anais Anais, Safari, Tresor and Obsession.
I have worn these 5 perfumes a lot over the years. I have tried many others - but these are my 5 favorites that I always come back to.
It doesn't matter which of these five I wear, someone will stop me in an elevator or at a checkout counter and say, "You smell so good - what are you wearing?"
Once - at the San Antonio Rodeo, I walked up to the roasted corn booth to get me an ear of roasted corn - that could be smelt - mind you - all over the Rodeo grounds. As I stood there waiting for the cowboy behind the counter to pull my corn off the grill, dunk it in a pot of hot butter and hand it to me - he said, "You smell wonderful. What are you wearing - Obsession?"
And, I was.
And ... he could smell it clear across the counter - over the aromatic, delicious scent of the roasting corn. I OBVIOUSLY had on TOO MUCH!
Calvin Klein's, Obsession, is my very favorite perfume of all. I also LOVE the body lotion and powder.
So ... if you have never tried Obsession - I'd highly recommend it - it is a BEAUTIFUL fragrance.

From all I am reading on this problem, it has something to do with Internet Explorer and Sitemeter and everyone is being told to delete the Sitemeter code from their blogs or others will/may not be able to access your blog. Apparently, Sitemeter works with Firefox, but that is it.

"Obsession" is wonderful and is one of my all-time favorites; I started wearing it when it first came out. Lately, I've been wearing KenzoAmour, and I always get compliments on it--but I hate the bottle it comes in. That's important, ya know :)! The other one I love is Lolita Lempicka, which is in a BEAUTEMOUS bottle, too. I could go on and on over perfume--Hanae Mori, Spring Fever, Happy, Shalimar, Light Blue--I love them all!
definitely ralph lauren's pure turqoise. i had to send my hubs all the way to the states to get it tho - you can't buy it here!

My favourite perfumes are Happy by Clinique, Versace Women by Versace, and Zara Bulargian Rose.

Ooooh, I haven't worn this scent in years! I usually wear Giorgio (and bring in the comments just like your lucky bunch does for you - but especially from my hubby, which is why I keep going back to it). I also love the scents you love. I have added a new favourite, though: Victoria Beckham. It's nice, light.

Love Spell from Victoria's Secret is my absolute favorite. I'd love to try Obsession though... especially at this price. :)
Being in the church choir, I rarely wear perfume. Some people have allergies, so they ask us not to. But when I go out for a night with my man, I like to wear Beautiful or Anais Anais or a fragrance I picked up in Paris. (Label is rubbed off because it's so old, and I rarely use it.)
For everyday use I spritz on my favorite body spray from Bath and Body Works in the Moonlight Path scent. It has a soft floral fragrance with a hint of a musky undertone.
I love Tosca, by a German maker. It has such a simple, clean, scent.
I don't wear alot of perfume anymore but when I do I grab my favorites which are Jadore and Amargie. But Jadore is more of a favorite lately.

I often don't wear perfume, but when I do I wear Joan River's Now & Forever. More often than a true perfume I wear a body splash from Bath & Body Works in either Night Jasmine (which I got turned onto when I got a bottle as a gift), or Cucumber & Melon, or something citrus.

I love a contest!
I love perfume on other people, but just don't love it on me. It gives me a headache and sometimes makes me nauseous. I sometimes wear Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue, but other than that, I'm into Bath & Bodyworks scented lotions.
I have never really worn perfume as I'm a cheap-o and they're expensive... I buy the scented lotions from Victoria's Secret. My other issue is that if I buy some and hate it, it's a huge waste of money. I would love to be a person who wears perfume. I've smelled so many GOOD smelling people while out and about. I'm just chicken to start trying things out for myself... LOL
I will keep your list in mind if I ever get brave!
My all time favorite right now, is Tommy Bahama- Cool Mist.

I like the designer imposters body spray. I basically just spritz an "x" on my body.
The two that I like are the knock offs of Clinique's "Happy" and Tommy Hilfiger's "Tommy Girl"
I also love the Sunflowers fragrance by Elizabeth Arden.

I don't think I've ever smelled obsession before. I love Affection by Mary Kay, Clinique's Happy, Tresor, Tommy Girl, and many others. I even just love all the Bath and Body products too. My bathroom looks like a spa! LOL
I like Clinique Happy, but usually my scent is whatever lotion is near. I'm always up for trying new scents though!
I don't wear a lot of perfume but do use a lot of Bath and Body lotions. But I still have Blue by Ralph Lauren and love it.
My favorite perfume is (I am a little embarrassed here...Dating myself for sure!)...WINDSONG!

I have two faves. The first is "Beauty" by Elizabeth Arden (not to be confused with beautiful!), but I don't think they make it anymore.
I also love "Happy Heart" (not to be confused with Happy) by Clinique.

Kellen, I'm not the girly girl, and I don't always remember to wear my perfume. Happy is my favorite scent (a Clinique one) followed closely by one called Grass (and yes, it smells sort of like grass)!
My favourite is Elige from Mary Kay - i found it 10 years ago and I wear it everyday!
My first boyfriend bought me Obsession in highschool. A huge bottle of it... after we broke up I gave it away...I should have kept it to send to you!
I like a lot of different perfumes, but "Eternity" by Calvin Klein is a favorite because I wore it on our wedding day. :O)

I love "Miracle Forever" from O'Lancome.
Since last year I've been wearing "Alien" by Thierry Mugler. It's not too strong, so it can be worn everyday (before "Alien" I mostly used perfume on special occasions).
When I'm in a 'sensual' mood I'll put on some "Sun, Moon & Stars". I think it's by Yves Saint Laurent.
Perfume smells different on everyone, but I'd sure like to try out your "Obsession"!

Yes, obsession is nice. Perhaps I could have used that on my camping trip this past weekend..hahaha, it would have done wonders for the smells of the forest! :) I am a total perfum junkie. I'd have to say my all time favorite is Pleasures-Exotic and Pleasures (original) ... I just LOVE the sweetness of the exotic one, so different from the original.

I rarely wear perfume. But when I do I LOVE clinique Happy and Happy Heart. I've also taken a liking to Glo by J.Lo. I'm not proud of that one but I really do love the way it smells! :)
A-HA!! So that's what the problem was. I kept getting that message when going on people's blogs too. I was getting very frustrated!! Glad things are working better now.
Anyway -- on to the contest...the ONLY perfume I have EVER worn is Obsession. It brings back so many memories as I first got into it while living in my first apartment with some girlfriends. I haven't worn it for years now -- too expensive -- but wouldn't that be fun if I won?

I also used to love Bob Mackie and Lauren... a long time ago I used to wear them.
I'm crazy with a perfume bottle.. My husband thinks I put too much on... not that it smells too strong, but I go through perfume like crazy... I spray each wrist sometimes up my arm too... then either side of my neck or right in the front of my neck and the back, either or, not both, then my hair, then by my stomach/chest area and then by my thighs and butt.
may seem crazy... but when I love a scent I love it!! :)

The 'scent' I wear every day is "Satsuma" by The Body Shop, but I also love Body Shop's "Pink Pepper" and almost anything Calvin Klein or Elizabeth Arden.

Mine Too!!LOL....Until.....I was in Toys-r-Us about a month ago. This woman "floated" by me and headed down the GI Joe aisle....Rushing up behind her I breathed, airily...."Oh Please excuse me but...What IS that fragrance you're wearing?".....Her chin raises into the air about three inches...fluttering her eyelashes without Ever looking at me, she purrs...."Sung...Alfred Sung".........I now find myself floating down the GI Joe aisle, waiting.....Hahahaha........
I just like the body sprays from Bath and Body Works... plain and boring. I am too leary to buy a perfume that I find I hate after spending 30 bucks on it... :(

Dunno if the contest is over, but I have a funny thing to share...
I was given a TINY, and I mean TINY sample of Chanel's "Allure" perfume about 12 years ago. (No kidding, when I was 14...) and I still have the 1 1/2 inch tall thing with a LITTLE perfume in it. If I go out somewhere REALLY special, I'll use it. Obviously, I dont' get out much...
But I SO love the smell of it. When I run out, I'm going to be awfully unhappy.
I love "Happy" by Clinique. My husband bought if for me for Christmas and now that's all I ware.
I used to love wearing "Baby Soft" when I was younger. I don't do too much perfume now...my mom is allergic to most of it, so I got out of the habit of wearing any. I love my Mango Mandarin Bath & Body Works splash though.
Well, I'm too late for the contest - that's me, always a day late and a dollar short - but I'm okay with that. I've been very busy.
I am not a fan of perfume because people don't know how to wear it and they aren't mindful of people around them who it may bother - like me :)
However, my mom wears obsession and - if worn correctly - I must agree that it is a wonderful scent.
